"Treescelts Medieval" are a music band which performs Medieval, Celtic and Sephardic music and are based in Volos and Pelion. The band is comprised of Ioannis Koulianos, Lida Filippopoulou, Konstandinos Arnis and Nikos Panagiotidis, old friends that have delved in music since their teenage years. Their interest on celtic and medieval musical culture first began through their study and experimentations on different musical styles combined also with traditional, greek music. In their music they utilise vocals, irish bouzouki, medieval gitern, various types of flutes, bagpipes, harp and also various types of percussion instruments to recreate melodies and songs from Ireland, Scotland, medieval France and Northern Europe and the Mediterranean sea. The orchestration of these songs is based on their musical sensitivity which bears the signs of their musical experiences, all the while keeping the traditional musical patterns and the fairy-tale atmosphere of the times

From Epidaurus to the kids' playground Kostas Vomvolos -Roula Manisanou
Songs by Kostas Vomvolos created the last thirty years for theatrical performances of the National Theatre of Northern Greece and the experimental scene of "Techne" (means "art").
Kostas Vomvolos had produced music for more than 160 theatrical performances, 3 movies and many documentaries. Mainly, he has worked with the National Theatre of Northern Greece, the experimental scene of "Techne", the "New Techne's Scene" and many Greek regional municipal theatrical teams. Since 1994 he is the conductor of the "Primavera en Salonico" ensemble. The ensemble has released 10 CD albums on cooperation with the singer Savvina Giannatou and has performed in all European countries, in the biggest cities of USA, Canada, Argentine, Australia, China, Korea etc. It is also working with the music group"Chimerini kolymvites" (means "winter swimmers").

Roula Manissanou is a professor in the Department of Theatre of the Arts School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She graduated from English literature School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and now she works there as a professor. She has been member of several music groups, she is a charter member of the group "Agami Thyte" and she's involved in jazz, rock, Greek artistic and "rebetiko" music. She has also studied theatre in the dramatic school of Roula Pateraki in collaboration with the Artistic Experimental Scene of Thessaloniki and the National Theatre of Northern Greece. She has performed in Epidaurus, Thessaloniki's Music Hall, Herodion, and in many cities in Greece and other countries.
