Music Ensembles / University of Thessaly
The Music Ensembles of the University of Thessaly (Vocal Expression group) is opening the Cultural summer at Paou monastery festival. Within the framework of actively engaging in culture and music, there is also the voluntary element of looking after the invited artists. University students, graduates but also colleagues of the Music Ensembles are gathering not only on the stage to sing, but also in small groups who, in a practical way, support the festival. |

The Music Ensembles of the U.T. (Vocal Expression group and Instrumental Ensembles) were founded in February 2006. Their goal was and is the musical growth of the students of the University through the experiential approach to music (concerts, publications and cultural exchanges).
The musical searches are supported by collective action and act as a bridge of communication with various institutions of the city but also with other educational institutes from Greece and abroad.
Various genres of music are involved in the musical presentations and help bring together students from different departments of the U.T.
Responsible for these actions, the musical moral support and the vocal training is Maria Thoidou, member of the University's Teacher Ensemble, who also organizes the Musical Ensembles of the University of Thessaly.
